Change and New Beginnings

Whew!  The Holidays are over, and we're into a new year, and beginning a new century.  New Year's (in any calendar) is a time for celebration and re-evaluation, as we look back--we see growth and accomplishment, but also plans un-realized, and the potholes in the road of life--as we look ahead, we hope and plan for a better tomorrow. Our articles this month reflect upon the process of re-evaluation, growth, and change, and offer ideas to make the process better, and more successful.

The first article, Thoughts about Change for the Millennium begins our exploration of change.

The next article, on New Year's Resolutions, give pointers for avoiding the "potholes" this time around.

Our third selection, Recovery Principle Number One, discusses what to do when change or recovery is not going well.

An article on Child Custody Mediation discusses a cooperative approach that brings benefits to children in the midst of family change.

Relationships are of pivotal importance in our lives, and one of the simplest ways to improve any and all of our relationships is to improve our ability to communicate.  To assess (or improve) your skills in communication, read Your Communication IQ.  We hope you find our articles for the month interesting, entertaining, and most of all we hope they'll be of use to you.
