The Holidays are upon us! This is a time for reflection, a time for family, friends, and tradition. As with the November issue, part of this issue is devoted to information on holiday coping strategies. For many, the holidays are a time of very high stress due to the pressures of expectations, and a tendency to "over do." At the very center of these pressures is holiday over-spending. To explore these topics, start by identifying your Decision Making Style and then read the article Holiday Money Blues. Times have changed, and so have families. Old traditions may no longer "work" when parents are divorced, or when families live apart. Read Creating Family Holiday Traditions for new ideas, and 8 Ideas for New Traditions. This month we also take a brief look at some of the different holiday traditions: Kwanzaa, Hanukah, and Christmas. Whatever your tradition, you may discover things you didn't know about the holidays celebrated by others.
