Spring 2001 In this issue: We're edging out of Winter, and peeking around the corner to Spring. While Winter is a period of dormancy, Spring is a time of renewal. Days gradually become longer, as the position of the sun climbs in the sky. The fresh and vibrant colors of Spring appear around us, and we're freed of the Winter doldrums. It's a great time to take on new projects, to experience a sense of renewal and refreshment, and take advantage of lengthening days and more energy. Many of us tackle old clutter in our homes in a Spring cleaning ritual. Spring cleaning can work on our lives, as well as our homes, if we clear out old worries, self-defeating habits, and unproductive behaviors. Our feature article discusses personal boundaries, which is a challenge, and a change, for many. Crafts are both renewing and relaxing. March is craft month, and we have instructions for gel candle making. Relax! discusses techniques for managing stress. |
